I love talking about my favourite mango smoothie recipe. Mangoes have always been my preferred choice of fruits because they are so unbelievably sweet!
The only unfortunate thing is that, it's quite messy to peel and prepare, unlike blueberries or strawberries, where you can simply pop them into your mouth after a good rinse. But I'll take on peeling any time just to get the chance to sink my teeth into a juicy slice!
Improves immune system
Mangoes contain antioxidants that can remove free radicals from the body and helps improve the immune system. This is critical in a time where we are exposed to threats to pollution, where our immunity becomes extremely weak and vulnerable.
Multivitamins
Mangoes contain a whole tonne of nutrients. They contain vitamins A, C, E and K. This fruit is also rich in fibre, which aids in digestion and bowel movements. Furthermore, it possesses potassium, which reduces high blood pressure.
Directions
Add in mango bits and yoghurt into the blender and mix at low speed. Pour in a bit of orange juice for a bit of tanginess in your smoothie.
