Most people ignore the importance of stretching end up with muscle sprains and ligament tears, and blame it on everyone and everything else but themselves.
You are in control of your own health. Be sure that you prepare yourself by learning how to stretch your muscles. Leg stretches help loosen the muscles in your legs so that you can run, walk, climb and jump without suffering from post-activity aches.

Therefore, I urge you not to take this lightly. Injuring yourself can mean that you are not able to move properly for several weeks or months. You will constantly feel pain and discomfort while doing the simplest of tasks... It is terribly unpleasant.
Take some time to stretch - it will be one of the best investments you make for your health.
